Top tips for exam preparation

It’s the time of harvesting .You reap what you sow. Yes, it's exam time . For now, though, there's some serious business that you must do and follow for the better result. Here are some tips to help you prepare study, stay focused and succeed.


1. Look after yourself
Try to be well rested and well nourished in preparation for exams. Drink plenty of fluids, eat a good healthy food. To tackle the cognitive challenges you must feel fresher and more energetic which will support your ability.
2. Plan your work

Develop your study, revision and time management skills

  • Be proactive, organize your information and identify gaps in your knowledge
  • Planning of Learning will minimize stress during the exam period, and what to do on the day of your exam.
  • Go on organizing and prioritizing your time, creating your own weekly and daily study plans, and active learning strategies.
Planning leads to success. Some people can concentrate better in the morning then in the evening. Sticking on continuous works is better but go on taking plenty of short breaks.

3. Practice past exam papers

One of the better ways is to solve some past exam papers for your subjects. They are available around the internet. While testing you for the past questions set yourself a time limit and don’t use notes and textbooks. This way will provide you valuable exam practice and it will also helps for highlight areas needed for revision.
4. Avoid postmortems
As soon as one exam is over, move swiftly to focusing on the next one. Dwelling on a subject exam that you have done wastes energy and time, and will drive you crazy . Be positive, stay calm, and mobilize your energies to do the best job possible on the day."

5. Plan for any special requirements

If you have a medical condition or special requirement that may affect your performance in an exam you may need to arrange for that. So, you can discuss over the matter before the exam days. For  example, for rest breaks or special seating.
